Most of the area's mass transit systems are in good shape, although NJ Transit is still seeing bugs leftover from Sandy's flooding.
Downed trees, wires and haywire signals forced either complete shutdowns or serious delays on the Philadelphia region's commuter routes since Sandy struck on Monday.
"Everything is running," SEPTA spokeswoman Heather Redfern said this morning. "I think we're good today."
Trains, buses and trolleys are humming along, and the only delays are typical of a routine morning. SEPTA's (www.septa.org) Lansdale/Doylestown Line trains are operating, but with delays of up to 20 minutes due to lingering storm issues.
NJ Transit (www.transit.com), which was hit hardest of the region's systems, resumed running the majority of its downed bus and Access Link service this morning.
The River Line light rail service from Camden to Trenton resumed operations Wednesday afternoon, making trips every 30 minutes between the Walter Rand Transportation Center in Camden and Trenton Transit Center.
In all, 18 bus routes in South Jersey are back up without detours or lapse in service. But 17 South Jersey routes will operate with detours or truncations.
Patco (www.ridepatco.org) is not experiencing any significant delays of service, according to its website.
And the DART system (www.dartfirststate.com)in Delaware is fully functional.
