Broken sewer pipe sickens mall patrons

A sewage pipe broke Saturday night, leaking raw sewage into the Burlington Center Mall in Burlington Township.

Firefighters, the Burlington County Health Department and other responders were called to the scene, where some mall patrons reported feeling sick.

No one was transported to the hospital, said a spokesman for the county's Office of Emergency Management. The mall never closed, he said.
