SEPTA rail service for King of Prussia Mall?

Proposed rail service to King of Prussia will be examined by SEPTA officials in three public sessions in Montgomery County next week.
SEPTA is considering ways to extend the Norristown High Speed Line to King of Prussia and Upper Merion Township from its current terminus in Norristown to provide train service to the region's largest suburban employment and retail center.
The three meetings, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., will include an open-house information session, with a presentation by SEPTA officials at 6 p.m.
The meetings are set for:
- Tuesday, Jan. 29. Valley Forge National Historical Park Visitors Center, 1400 N. Outer Line Dr., King of Prussia.
- Wednesday, Jan. 30. Villanova University, Garey Hall, Spring Mill and East County Line Road, Villanova.
- Thursday, Jan. 31. Montgomery County Planning Commission. 425 Swede St., Norristown.
The current study, to determine a preferred route, is expected to be completed in 2014.
