Free rides on PATCO tonight due to ticket issue

PATCO sold out advance tickets for the Eagles parade on Thursday and the machines were unable to sell tickets for regular Wednesday rides.

PATCO announced Wednesday evening that rides for the rest of the night will be free because ticket machines ran out of tickets, an agency spokesman said.

PATCO sold out advance tickets for the Eagles parade on Thursday and the machines were unable to sell tickets for regular Wednesday rides.

Agency spokesman Kyle D. Anderson advised ticket buyers for the parade to arrive at their station's as early as possible because the tickets do not guarantee boarding on trains if they are full.
