Man, 30, shot in Chester this weekend has died

The victim was shot Sunday night and died Monday.

A 30-year-old man who was shot in Chester over the weekend has died, police said Tuesday.

About 11:30 p.m. Sunday, police found Leslie Taylor Jr. lying face-down in his Delaware County home on the 1100 block of Booth Street. Police Capt. James Chubb said the victim was shot on his porch, then ran into his home.

Taylor was rushed by medics to Crozer-Chester Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead at 12:39 a.m. Monday. Anyone with any information about the shooting is asked to call Detective Steven Byrne at 610-447-8430 or Detective Thomas Scarparo at 610-891-4708.
