A Gloucester County man  is being hunted by Evesham Township police after he was identified through the help of  followers of the department's Facebook page as the bathroom peeper who allegedly secretly recorded another man using the restroom last month at a Chick-fil-A.

Although police have spoken to the accused, Joseph C. Quiles, 27, of Wenonah, he has not turned himself in or disclosed where he is, said police spokesman Lt. Joseph Friel.

"He is someone we want to apprehend and put in jail," Friel said.

The public identified Quiles after police posted a July 20 Chick-fil-A surveillance video on the department's Facebook page, asking for tips.

On Monday, police posted a picture of Quiles on Facebook, hoping they would get the same assistance in finding him.

Although Quiles told police he would talk to his attorney and surrender, Friel said authorities were not going to wait any longer for that to happen as there is a warrant out for his arrest.

It is alleged that about 1:30 p.m. a customer placed an order — paying by credit card —  at the Route 70 Chick-fil-A in Marlton, followed another customer to the men's room, and recorded a video on his phone through a crack in the door.

When confronted about the incident, the man fled in a vehicle.

Police were notified and used the surveillance video to identify Quiles by posting it on Facebook. Although the post generated two comments: "Eww" and "Disgusting!" it post was shared 245 times, leading to numerous tips for police regarding that incident and others that remain under investigation, Friel said.

Quiles has been charged with invasion of privacy. Anyone who knows where he is is asked to contact the Evesham Police Department at 856-983-1116, through the confidential tip line at 856-983-4699, or to send an email at Facebook@Eveshampd.org. Anonymous tips also may be texted to ETPDTIP at 847411.
