Police on Monday identified a 27-year-old man who was fatally wounded in a double shooting late Sunday night in the city's Tioga section.
Police on Monday identified a 27-year-old man who was fatally wounded in a double shooting late Sunday night in the city's Tioga section.
Just before 11:40 p.m., police responded to a report of a person shot in the 1700 block of West Erie Avenue and found Brian Gravely inside a 2013 Mitsubishi with a gunshot wound to his head. Gravely, of the 2300 block of North Carlisle Street, was pronounced dead at the scene by medics.
A 26-year-old man also was in the Mitsubishi with a gunshot wound to his lower back. He was taken by medics to Temple University Hospital, where he was listed in critical condition. Police said a suspect was last seen running toward North 18th Street.
