Nonprofit purchases 32K-plus acres of forest in Western Pa.

The Virginia-based Conservation Fund's purchase of 32,598 acres of "sustainable timberland" in Elk and McKean Counties may be the single largest conservation acquisition by a nonprofit in Pennsylvania history.
