Former Owl City musician gets probation in underage sex case
He engaged in a lewd act with an underage girl in Atlantic City in 2013.

A former touring member of the music act Owl City pleaded guilty and was sentenced to probation for engaging in a lewd act with an underage girl in Atlantic City, the Atlantic County prosecutor said Thursday.
Daniel P. Jorgensen, 32, pleaded guilty July 10 before Superior Court Judge Michael J. Blee to fourth-degree lewdness with a child and was sentenced to two years' probation to be served in Jorgensen's hometown of Minneapolis. He also was ordered to submit fingerprints and a DNA sample.
Atlantic County Prosecutor Damon G. Tyner said Jorgensen admitted that he exposed himself to a girl under the age of 13 in August 2013.
Jorgensen was indicted in 2015 on charges related to attempting to lure the girl for sex and engaging in criminal sexual contact with her on an Atlantic City beach.
Owl City was a recording project created by singer, songwriter, and instrumentalist Adam Young.
Jorgensen was terminated from Owl City in 2013 after the allegations surfaced.
