Lobbyists' spending reports start appearing online

HARRISBURG - The first spending reports filed by lobbyists under a new Pennsylvania state law went online Thursday, a Department of State spokeswoman said.

While hundreds of lobbying firms, lobbyists and companies or groups that hire them have registered with the state, only expense reports filed by Internet are currently available to the public, department spokeswoman Cathy Ennis said.

The department's Web address is www.dos.state.pa.us.

The department was unable to provide a list of which expense reports were available through the state Web site. - AP
