Man shot to death in Grays Ferry, police say

A 19-year-old man was fatally wounded in the Grays Ferry section of South Philadelphia, police said.

The shooting occurred about 6:15 p.m. near 28th and Dickinson Streets. The victim, whose name was not released, was taken to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, where he was pronounced dead at 8:14 p.m.
