Man gunned down on an Overbrook street

An unidentified man was gunned down and killed in the Overbrook section of West Philadelphia last night, policed said.

The victim, described as being in his 30s, was declared dead shortly being found about 10 p.m. on the street in the 5600 block of Wynnefield Avenue, near St. Joseph's University.

Police said he had been shot multiple times, and was declared dead at the scene. No other details were immediately available.
