Three unrelated slayings in Philadelphia
Three Philadelphia residents died - two by gunfire - in unrelated killings Tuesday night, police said. Lawrence Coleman, 27, of North Philadelphia, was sitting in a gold Ford Windstar minivan in Port Richmond shortly before midnight when an unknown gunman approached and fired 15 shots into him. Coleman was pronounced dead at 12:21 a.m. yesterday at Temple University. Investigators had not determined a motive in the slaying, police said.

Earlier, Ameya Spratley, 28, was stabbed in her second-floor apartment on the 900 block of South 16th Street in Southwest Center City; she was pronounced dead at the scene at 7 p.m. Keith Moore, 23, who lived with Spratley, was arrested and charged with murder, police said.
In the third homicide, Daymond Williams, 30, of North Philadelphia, was shot in back and in the right side of his head while sitting in the passenger seat of a vehicle on the 2800 block of East Pacific Street in Port Richmond. Williams was pronounced dead at the scene around 7:30 p.m.
Another 30-year-old man, wounded in the chest in the shooting, was in critical condition at Temple University Hospital, police said. They have not disclosed the relationship, if any, between the men.
