Workshops offered for job-seekers

A series of free workshops for job-seekers will start Wednesday in Marlton. The workshops are being offered by the Career Transition Partnership, a group of interfaith business and community volunteers who wanted to help those seeking employment.

The workshops are being offered by the Career Transition Partnership, a group of interfaith business and community volunteers who wanted to help those seeking employment.

The training sessions will be held at St. Isaac Jogues Parish Hall, 349 Evesboro-Medford Rd., Marlton and at Temple Emanuel, 1101 Springdale Rd., Cherry Hill. Participants can arrive by 6:30 p.m. for informal networking. The programs start at 7.

The Marlton sessions are:

Dec. 4 - Tips for Smart Financial Choices

Dec. 18 - Managing Stress During Unemployment

Jan. 8 - What You Need to Know for Job Searching

Jan. 22 - Updating and Improving Your Resumé

The Cherry Hill sessions are:

Dec. 12 - Financial Management During Unemployment

Jan. 16 - Effective Networking Techniques

Jan. 30 - Developing a Weekly Plan
