Man fatally stabbed in East Germantown
A suspect has turned himself in to police after a fatal stabbing inside an East Germantown home. Philadelphia police said a man was found on the kitchen floor suffering from stab wounds to the front of his body in a residence on the 5900 block of North 19th Street at 11:35 a.m. Wednesday.

Philadelphia police said a man was found on the kitchen floor suffering from stab wounds to the front of his body in a residence on the 5900 block of North 19th Street at 11:35 a.m. Wednesday.
Medics pronounced the man dead at the scene at 11:44 a.m., police said.
The victim was not immediately identified.
Police said another man, whose name was not released, turned himself in at the 35th District in connection with the killing.
Police described the incident as a homicide but didn't disclose further details about the circumstances of the incident. No charges against the suspect were immediately announced.
