Philadelphia police are investigating a triple stabbing in a Bridesburg home that left one woman dead and another in critical condition.

Police said officers were called to the 2800 block of Reynolds Street shortly after 6 a.m. and found three people who had been stabbed in a home there.
One woman in her 50s suffered multiple stab wounds to her face. Medics pronounced her dead at the scene at 6:27 a.m., police said.
A 74-year-old woman was stabbed several times in her face and body and was taken to Aria Health's Frankford hospital in critical condition.
An 18-year-old man who suffered cuts to his hand was also hospitalized.
Police said the young man told investigators a home invasion had occurred but gave no description of any suspects.
A kitchen knife was recovered where the teenager told officers the weapon had been hidden, police said.
