A school bus was involved in a crash with an SUV in Camden County Thursday morning, sending 11 students and the passenger vehicle's driver to the hospital.

Gloucester Township police said the crash happened about 7 a.m. on Cross Keys Road near Kearsley Road.

Investigators believe the school bus sideswiped the passing SUV as the bus was making a left turn.

The T&L Transportation bus was transporting 39 Camden County Technical Schools students at the time, police said.

No serious injuries occurred in the crash near the high school, police said, but 11 students, as well as the SUV driver, were taken to a hospital after they complained of neck and back pain.

Authorities said all of those transported were expected to be released from the hospital later Thursday morning.

The crash remains under investigation and no charges have been filed, police said.

Cross Keys Road was briefly closed between New Brooklyn Erial and Turnersville roads while crews responded to the scene.
