Hazing charges for Fla. A&M trio

TALLAHASSEE

- Police have arrested three Florida A&M band members in the hazing beating of a woman.

Tallahassee police said yesterday that the three struck Bria Shante Hunter's legs with their fists and with a metal ruler to initiate her into a band clique.

Hunter told police that days later she went to the hospital and learned her thigh bone was broken.

Police also said that hazing was involved in the November death of FAMU drum major Robert Champion.
