STATE COLLEGE - Eleven more students have been charged in connection with last month's riot following the firing of legendary Penn State coach Joe Paterno amid a child sex- abuse scandal centering on Jerry Sandusky.

The Centre Daily Times reported that seven of those arrested Monday and Tuesday are accused of tipping over a TV news van during the Nov. 9 riot. Those seven face felony riot charges and four 20-year-old women were charged with criminal mischief.

Thousands of students took to the streets of State College after Penn State's Board of Trustees ousted Paterno and university president Graham Spanier a few days after former assistant football coach Sandusky was charged with sexually abusing young boys.

More than three dozen people have been charged in connection with the riot.
