Fire destroys school in Cheltenham
A WEEKEND FIRE destroyed a Montgomery County school for special-needs and at-risk students. Firefighters needed more than three hours to bring the blaze under control Saturday at the Wyncote Academy in Cheltenham. Fire Chief John Mulligan says the second floor and roof were completely ruined. Desks and computers were also destroyed.

No injuries were reported.
The Cheltenham Township fire marshal said yesterday that the fire appeared to be intentionally set, according to an Inquirer report. An investigation is continuing.
The nonprofit school says it'll move classes to nearby Gratz College starting tomorrow.
Wyncote Academy serves 65 students in grades six through 12.
