Helicopter makes emergency landing in Hudson River

A helicopter was forced to make an emergency landing just before noon in the Hudson River on Sunday, according to multiple reports.

According to fire officials, all five individuals that were onboard are now on land and safe. The helicopter continues to float south in the Hudson River.

"Helicopter down in Hudson River the chopper is upright on floats fire reporting all people on board accounted for. Amazing," tweeted one witness.
