Phila. police ID four weekend victims

Philadelphia police yesterday identified four men killed in unrelated incidents Sunday in different parts of the city.

The first to die in the 24-hour period was Van Tri Chi, 37, of Dedaker Street in Northeast Philadelphia. He died of stab wounds following a fight shortly after 1 a.m. outside a sports club at 612 Washington Ave. in South Philadelphia. Another victim, 31, remained in stable condition yesterday with a knife wound to his back at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital.

Henry Santos, 24, no known address, was found by police at 1:47 a.m. on the 2100 block of North Reese Street in North Philadelphia with a gunshot wound to the head. Santos was pronounced dead at the scene.

Anthony Linn, 33, of Conshohocken, was gunned down shortly before 7:30 p.m. near 50th and Master Streets in the city's Parkside section of West Philadelphia. Linn, who was found in the back of an SUV, died of multiple gunshot wounds at 7:47 p.m. at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.

Joshua Sutton, 18, was shot about 9 p.m. in the head, chest and back on the 3100 block of Oakdale Street in Strawberry Mansion. He was pronounced dead at Temple University Hospital at 9:26 p.m.
