Teen charged with threatening Burlco district

A 15-year-old boy was charged with making terroristic threats on social media against a Burlington County school district, police said Friday.

The threats of possible violence on Friday were made against the Burlington Township School District. Police said they were notified Thursday evening about the posts and quickly located the teen.

Though investigators believed there was no actual danger, police increased their presence at district schools Friday as a precaution. The boy was released to the custody of his parents. - Robert Moran
