Public help sought in Camden murder

The search is on for two men wanted for questioning in the murder of a woman and the burning of her body in a vacant rowhouse in the Liberty City section of Camden, N.J., authorities said Friday.

The Camden County prosecutor's office and Camden police are asking for the public's help in identifying the two men seen in video surveillance from a city store. They used a Scott's Family First card to make purchases.

Authorities want to talk to them about the death of Rhonda Scott, 38, of Grant Street, Camden, who was found Feb. 8 stabbed multiple times and severely burned inside an abandoned home in the 1700 block of Tioga Street.

The fire was reported at about 4:45 p.m.

Five people in total are seen in the three images released by the Camden County prosecutor Friday afternoon.

"One of the pictures captures a man in a dark hooded sweatshirt walking out of a shop. Investigators believe the same man is captured in another photo taken at a Camden store. In this image, the man is wearing a red shirt beneath an unzipped jacket," the prosecutor's office said in a statement. "Two men behind him, one of them wearing a blue Phillies hat, are also people investigators would like to speak with. A third picture captures a man in a cap and black sweatshirt with yellow highlights and a woman in a brown jacket. Investigators would be interested in identifying and talking to all five of these people."
