A 22-year-old man has become the city's 150th homicide victim of the year. Police said Sean Amir Maye, 22, was found shot in the chest, arm, throat and ear about 11:54 p.m. Tuesday on the 1600 block of North Robinson Street in West Philadelphia's Carroll Park section.

Maye, who lived around the corner on Landsdowne Avenue, was pronounced dead at the scene at 12:18 a.m. yesterday.

The motive for the shooting remained a mystery yesterday, and police had no suspects.

There were 140 homicides in Philadelphia at this time last year.

Police yesterday also identified the 149th slaying victim of this year.

He was Thomas Bellmon, 25, of the 3400 block of Tampa Street, in North Philadelphia, who was killed by five shotgun blasts.

A jogger found his body Monday morning on Fisher's Lane, between the Fisher's Glen driving range and the Juniata Golf Course. Detectives were seeking a motive in the slaying.

Jean Bellmon, his grandmother, said Bellmon had spent most of his life in Baltimore before returning to Philadelphia about five years ago.

He was the father of 5-year-old boy and 3-year-old girl, she said. Bellmon was in a program "for some problems he had," she said.

Police are still seeking the identity of a man found shot in the head earlier Monday in the driveway behind the 6400 block of Belfield Avenue in East Mount Airy.

And investigators were awaiting a determination by the Medical Examiner's office if a woman found shot in the head Monday night in her home on Fairgreen Lane in the Northeast died as a result of suicide or a homicide.
