Man shot to death in North Philadelphia identified

Police yesterday released the name of a 22-year-old man shot to death in North Philadelphia.

Thomas Teagues was fatally wounded at 9:37 p.m. Thursday on the 1900 block of Cumberland Street. He was taken to Temple University Hospital with wounds to his head, chest and abdomen, authorities said. Teagues, whom authorities said was from around 24th and Huntingdon Streets, died at 9:53, shortly after arriving.

Police said they think at least a dozen people saw the killing, but no one has come forward as a witness and no arrests have been made.
