Police yesterday released details of a shooting in West Oak Lane late Tuesday night that resulted in the death of a 21-year-old man, the second killing in as many days.
Police yesterday released details of a shooting in West Oak Lane late Tuesday night that resulted in the death of a 21-year-old man, the second killing in as many days.
The shooting happened about 11:10 p.m. near Renovo Street and Andrews Avenue, police said. Corey Llewellyn, who lived about two blocks from where he was found with wounds to the head and torso, was pronounced dead at Albert Einstein Medical Center at 11:35 p.m. No arrest was reported in that shooting.
On Monday night, Kevin Williamson, 27, of North Philadelphia, was shot on the 6700 block of Woolston Street. He died at Albert Einstein Medical Center at 11:02 p.m. Wallace Curry, 64, of West Oak Lane, has been charged with first-degree murder in that case. - Peter Mucha
