Robber flees a bank in Northeast with cash
A man in his early 20s walked into a Citizens Bank on Bustleton Avenue in Northeast Philadelphia yesterday morning, handed the teller a note demanding money, and walked out with between $2,000 and $3,000, police said.

He ran off, and no one was hurt.
The robber, who struck at 10:45 a.m., was described as black and wearing a knit cap, a black hooded sweatshirt, and blue jeans.
Police had not arrested a suspect last night. They said the man had told the teller that he had a gun, but never showed it. - Matt Katz
