1 killed, 1 hurt in small-plane crash in Delaware

MIDDLETOWN, Del. - One person was killed and another critically injured Friday in a small-plane crash near Middletown, Delaware state police said.

Troopers said the single-engine plane crashed about 6:35 p.m. off Lore Wood Grove Road near Summit Airport.

A man was pronounced dead at the scene, and a woman was critically injured and flown to Christiana Hospital in Newark, authorities said. - AP
