Fatal shooting in Kingsessing section

A 22-year-old man died after he was shot on a street corner in Kingsessing early Monday evening, police said.

The victim was at Frazier and Broomall Streets when he was shot once in the upper left side of his chest by an unknown suspect just before 6 p.m., police said. He was taken to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, where he was pronounced dead at 6:05 p.m. - Staff report
