Two children hurt as school bus crashes

Two children were injured Friday afternoon after the brakes on a school bus failed and it crashed into a tree on Beechwood Street near Spencer Street in East Germantown, police said. The bus was carrying five children at the time, and the two who were injured were taken to Albert Einstein Medical Center for treatment. Police said they complained of neck pain.
