While authorities were investigating car vandalism in February, Toledo - who works as a butcher - posed as a victim and allegedly slashed his own tires, police said.
Toledo was being held Friday in the Curran-Fromhold Correctional Facility after not posting $270,000 bail, according to court documents. - Phillip Lucas
