Police identify Frankford man killed on Saturday

Police have identified a 52-year-old man who was fatally shot Friday night on the 5200 block of Saul Street in Frankford as Jose Rodriguez, a resident of the block.

Rodriguez was found semiconscious on the pavement at 10:29 p.m. suffering from gunshot wounds to his chest and legs, police said. He was pronounced dead at Temple University Hospital at 3:57 a.m. Saturday.

No arrests have been made, and police are still looking for suspects. The motive for the shooting was unknown.
