Ah, Center City Sips.

We give you nice things and then you ruin them.

Remember when the weekend started on Friday night? Then it edged into Thursday. Sips moved it to Wednesday, giving people an excuse to drink for more than half the week. Sips takes place at establishments across Center City every Wednesday throughout the summer from 5 to 7 p.m. Participating bars and restaurants offer $5 cocktails, $4 wine, $3 beer and half-priced appetizers.

Police had no information on whether any arrests were made.
