Milton Clark Jr., 48, of Media, a singer and actor who appeared in movies and on television, died May 31 at Riddle Memorial Hospital of a heart attack.

Milton Clark Jr., 48, of Media, a singer and actor who appeared in movies and on television, died May 31 at Riddle Memorial Hospital of a heart attack.
Mr. Clark appeared in several films, including Younger and Younger, Prince of Tides and Hairspray. On television, he played Miles in the cable-television children's program Gerbert. He also sang in dinner theater and for the Tri-City Opera in Binghamton, N.Y.
He taught acting at Freedom Theatre in Philadelphia and directed children's summer theater in Stewartsville, Pa.
Mr. Clark moved to Los Angeles in the early 1980s to pursue acting.
He interrupted his career in the 1990s when his father died, and helped manage the family's janitorial service in Philadelphia for several years.
Since returning home again last year, he had done voice-overs for television commercials and worked for the NutriSystem diet program.
Mr. Clark graduated from Penncrest High School in Media. He attended Ricker College in Maine and studied voice at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh.
He is survived by his mother, Phyllis Clark; sisters Arden McFarlene, Fern and Trina; a brother, Randal; and half-sister Bonnie Pollard.
The funeral and burial were private.
