TRENTON - Helen Boehm, 89, former owner of a Trenton porcelain studio that presented sculptures to world figures, died Monday at her home in West Palm Beach, Fla.

Mrs. Boehm and her sculptor husband, Edward, founded the Boehm Porcelain Studio in 1950. With its designs inspired by animals, plants, and other scenes in nature, it soon became one of the world's top artisan porcelain studios.

Mrs. Boehm took over the operation when her husband died in 1969. Sharon Lee Parker bought the Boehm Porcelain Co. in 2009.

A Funeral Mass will be said at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Sacred Heart Church, 343 S. Broad St., Trenton. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Trenton.
