Rexford Kennamer | Doctor to the stars, 93

Rexford Kennamer, 93, a physician whose clients included some of Hollywood's biggest names, has died in Alabama.

Dr. Kennamer died Sept. 28 in Montgomery. Richard Kennamer said his uncle had lived with him for the last five years after suffering a stroke that left him unable to speak.

He had worked in private practice in Beverly Hills, Calif., after receiving degrees from the University of Alabama and the Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia. His clients included Frank Sinatra, Elizabeth Taylor, and Rock Hudson. - AP
