Former stars in basketball tourney at Temple
A team full of local basketball talent will take aim at the $100,000 grand prize at the And1 Summer Remix tournament this weekend at Temple's Liacouras Center.
A team full of local basketball talent will take aim at the $100,000 grand prize at the And1 Summer Remix tournament this weekend at Temple's Liacouras Center.
Former Owls Mardy Collins, Dionte Christmas, and Micheal Eric will team with Flip Murray and Hakim Warrick on Philly USA/All-City Classic. The team, coached by Charles Monroe and Ellis Gindraw, will play at 6 p.m. Thursday in a single-elimination game against Division 1, a team put together by record producer Rico Love. The Philly squad was assembled by former Lehigh star Dozie Mbonu.
The event will start at 2 p.m. Thursday and run through Sunday. Tickets are available at the box office and at and1.com/summer-remix.
