ACC lacrosse to play at PPL Park

The semifinals and final will be held tomorrow and Sunday.

THE ACC MEN'S lacrosse championship will be held this weekend at PPL Park in Chester.

Syracuse will play Duke at 5 p.m. tomorrow in one semifinal, followed by Maryland vs. Notre Dame at 7:30. The championship will be 1 p.m. Sunday.

On Saturday at 7:30 p.m., Virginia will play North Carolina in a showcase game to determine fifth place in the ACC.

Several local players are competing: Duke senior attack Jordan Wolf (Lower Merion High); North Carolina junior attack Joey Sankey (Penn Charter); Virginia senior midfield Chris LaPierre (Shawnee); Maryland senior goalkeeper Niko Amato (La Salle); and Maryland freshman attack Matt Rambo (La Salle).
