Temple football team adds a senior defensive adviser
Semore spent the last three years at Montana, the final two as defensive coordinator.
Jason Semore, who served as defensive coordinator the last two seasons at Montana, has been added to the Temple staff as a senior defensive adviser.
Semore, 36, spent three seasons at Montana, an FCS program. He was special-teams coordinator and secondary coach his first year. Before that, he was the defensive coordinator at the Colorado School of Mines for one season.
A graduate of Adams State in Colorado, Semore began his coaching career as defensive coordinator for Round Valley High School in Eagar, Ariz., in 2006. He also coached three seasons at Adams State and had coaching stops at Tulsa (outside linebackers coach) and Oklahoma State, where he was a defensive assistant in 2012-13.
"Jason has been a successful defensive coordinator at the college level," Temple coach Geoff Collins said in a statement released by the school. "He adds another experienced voice to the defensive staff as we continue to build our dominant brand of defense here on Broad Street."
