Foles: Glad to See Vick, McCoy Practice
Eagles quarterback Nick Foles said after practice Tuesday he was glad to see Michael Vick able to get out there in uniform, Vick throwing the ball around as a partial participant after finally passing his imPACT concussion test.
"It was great having them out there," Foles said after both Vick and McCoy got the OK to ease back into practice. Both players still need to be evaluated by an independent neurologist before playing, and they seem unlikely to suit up Thursday against the Bengals. "Just their presence, to be out there to help us young guys ... is great for the team, it's a great vibe for the team."
Someone wondered if it was awkward, the first time on the field suited up since Foles was named the starter for the remainder of the season a little more than a week ago.
"There's no awkwardness," Foles said. "I've said before, Mike and I, our relationship has stayed the same. I'll always support Mike. I know he'll always support me, no matter what."
