There was a lot of hype surrounding the biggest sporting event each year. Mix in Philadelphia fans, and you get some comical occurrences.

Round 2 of the greased-pole debacle took place, and this time team "no climbing" upped the ante, using hydraulic fluid instead of the obviously toothless Crisco.

At the stadium, the Eagles came out to currently incarcerated rapper Meek Mill's "Dreams and Nightmares." Jersey native Karl Anthony-Towns, who was shooting the game for The Players' Tribune, wore an Eagles jersey advocating for Meek's freedom.

Speaking of NBA players, Sixers' star Joel Embiid was in attendance.

The Eagles were rolling early, and Twitter, specifically Will Smith, were pretty excited.

There was a lot of talk about missed kicks early in the game:

But the Patriots loomed for most of the second half, and Twitter remembers the Falcons. They weren't ready to be hurt again.
