Eagles linebacker Jordan Hicks on Week 1: 'I'll be there'
Hicks is nursing a groin injury, but is not concerned about missing time.
Count on Jordan Hicks being in the lineup in Week 1 against Washington. The Eagles linebacker is nursing a groin injury that sidelined him last week, but there's no concern about a lingering absence.
"None whatsoever," Hicks said. "I'll be there."
Hicks said that he will practice on a limited basis Tuesday and that he should be a full participant by the start of next week. The injury occurred at practice last week. Hicks said it "came out of nowhere."

"I'll be fine by Week 1," Hicks said. "Not worried about it. Rehabbing well. It's healing well. It's coming along pretty quick."
Hicks is entering his third NFL season. He arrived in Philadelphia with the reputation of being injury-prone, and his rookie season was cut short by a pectoral injury. But Hicks played all 16 games last season, and he was bullish during the spring about benefiting from a healthy off-season. He nursed a hand injury early in training camp, but that didn't keep him from missing any time in games.
