Conestoga girls rout Penncrest

Maddy Tessier-Kay led Conestoga in the first half Friday, and the Pioneers went on to beat Penncrest, 53-18, in a Central League girls' basketball game.

Tessier-Kay scored 10 of her 12 points in the first half, helping the Pioneers outscore the hosts, 26-10. Tessier-Kay has registered at least 10 points in each of her last four games.

Kate Nalevanko added 10 points for Conestoga, which has won three of its last four games.

Sam Martino led the Lions with seven points.
