Highly recruited junior guard Ja'Quan Newtown led the Saints (3-0, 1-0 Catholic League) with 16 points.
Troy Harper scored 15 points and had four steals and three assists. Lamarr Kimble chipped in with 10 points.
Tony Toplyn just missed a double-double with nine points and nine rebounds. Hanif Sutton had seven assists and six steals to go along with his three points.
Steve Jordan led Conwell-Egan with 16 points.
Mercer Invitational. Junior Chris McNeal scored a career-high 21 points as Episcopal Academy beat the Gilman School, 65-56, in the seventh-place game.
Samir Taylor added 18 points, and Markuan Stutts had 12 points and nine rebounds.
In the fifth-place game, host Hill School fell to Blue Ridge (Va.), 56-53. Hill freshman Bryce Allen played his way onto the all-tournament team, scoring 16 points on four three-pointers.
