Saturday's Pa. roundup: Radnor girls' basketball rallies late to beat Conestoga

The Radnor girls' basketball team scored the final eight points of the game Saturday to come from behind and clip Conestoga, 40-39. Katie Mayock, who finished with game-high 14 points for Conestoga, missed a half-court shot at the buzzer. Ellie Mueller and Brienne Williams paced Radnor with 12 points apiece.

Upper Merion received a balance scoring attack as the Vikings edged Lower Merion, 34-32. Amya Anthony and Tymeriah Stanton each led the way with eight points for the victors.

Brady Wassel led all scorers with 24 points in Lansdale Catholic's 61-45 triumph over Pope John Paul II. Lauren Crim added 16 points for the Crusaders.

Freshmen Kaitlyn Orihel recorded her second double-double of the season with 10 points and 10 rebounds as Archbishop Wood defeated Little Flower, 56-20.

Lucy Olsen and Abby Goodrich each had 12 points in Spring-Ford's 52-39 victory over Cumberland Valley. Rachel Christman contributed 10 points for the Rams.

Miranda Poretta's 13 points led Oxford past Interboro, 32-25. Hannah D'Aquanno had eight points for the victors.

Sadie Buzan recorded 13 points as Great Valley took down Chester, 50-25.

Grace Ferguson posted a double-double with a team-high 18 points and 11 rebounds as West Chester Henderson upended Penncrest, 42-30. Grace Harding scored 21 points for the Lions.

Sydney Mowery scored 16 points as Pottsgrove beat Sun Valley, 52-27. Summer Walker pitched in 11 points for the Falcons.

Eileen Piombino scored 21 points and hauled in 12 rebounds in Sacred Heart Academy's 61-25 win over Delco Christian. Kayleigh Doyle contributed 15 points, 5 assists and 5 steals for the victors.

Sarah Huston notched a game-high 33 points in Coatesville's 73-22 victory over West Chester East.

Council Rock North's tenacious defense led to 24 steals in a 64-26 triumph over Wissahickon. Mackenzie Tinner led all scorers with 20 points for the Indians.

Boys' Basketball

Jake Reichwein scored 13 points as Central Bucks West outlasted Wissahickon, 58-55, in overtime. Jack Mulhearn and Davis Zerweck had 11 and 10 points, respectively, for the Bucks. Max Rapoport scored a game-high 25 points in a losing effort.

Arashma Parks scored 15 points as Phelps upended Shipley, 72-66. Yagizhan Selcuk added 14 points for the Lions. Sam Sessoms scored a game-high 33 points for the Gators.

Damon Wall scored 22 points as Constitution topped Annapolis (Md.), 79-70. Tyree Mitchell had 16 points for the Generals.

Ahmad Bickley recorded 17 points and 9 assists as Cheltenham downed Council Rock South, 69-54. Jack Clark added 16 points for the Panthers.

David West scored 20 points, including three free throws with under a minute remaining, led William Tennent to a 59-57 victory over Quakertown.

Nick Roggio scored 17 points to lead Central Bucks East past Pennsbury, 56-41. Ben Markowitz and Leo Masterson each had 10 points for the Patriots.

Jeff Woodward had 22 points and 10 rebounds to lift Methacton over Pottsgrove, 67[BOLD][TEXT]-51. David Duda added 13 points for the Warriors.

Zach Anderson scored 15 points in Germantown Academy's 65-50 victory over Friends' Central. Jordan Longino contributed 14 points for the Patriots.

James Lieble finished with 15 points to lift Bensalem over Souderton, 52-42. Ward Roberts added 13 points for the Owls.

Nate Graeff scored 18points as Great Valley edged Octorara, 47-45. Liam Ward had 13 points for the victors.
