Roy Oswalt recovered from a shaky start to win his first game since April 21 and Ryan Howard knocked in three runs to lead the Phillies to a 4-3 win over the Chicago Cubs at Citizens Bank Park.

Oswalt allowed three runs in the first inning, but settled down after, throwing seven innings of five-hit ball.

Howard had three hits to go along with his three RBI as the Phillies took three out of four from the Cubs.
