HARRISBURG - Ramiro Peña had three hits and two RBIs yesterday as the Trenton Thunder beat the Harrisburg Senators, 5-1, in the Eastern League.

The win was Trenton's ninth straight. The Thunder (17-2) tied a franchise record for victories in April. The mark of 17-5 was set by the 1999 Thunder.

Jeff Marquez (3-1) tossed seven shutout innings for Trenton. He scattered seven hits and struck out six.

The Thunder took a 2-0 lead in the third inning on Pena's RBI double and Cody Ehlers' RBI single.

Justin Christian added a homer for Trenton in the eighth.

AKRON, Ohio - Javon Moran's RBI single in the eighth inning gave the Phillies the go-ahead run in their Eastern League victory over the Aeros.

Jesus Merchan's RBI single tied the score earlier in the inning.

Ottawa 4, Indianapolis 2

OTTAWA, Ontario - Jason Jaramillo's seventh-inning sacrifice fly scored Dusty Wathan with the deciding run for the Lynx as they beat the Indians in the International League.

Brennan King's RBI double in the eighth gave the Phillies' triple-A affiliate an insurance run.

Wilmington 7, Winston-Salem 1

WILMINGTON - The Blue Rocks broke a scoreless tie with three runs in the bottom of the seventh to beat the Warthogs in the Carolina League.

Brian McFall's two-run double highlighted a four-run outburst for Wilmington in the bottom of the eighth.

Lake County 13, Lakewood 9

EASTLAKE, Ohio - Felipe Garcia's three-run homer completed a seven-run rally for the Captains in the bottom of the eighth as they beat the BlueClaws in the South Atlantic League.

Jason Denham's leadoff homer began the rally after the Captains had entered the inning trailing by 9-6.

Lakewood's Adrian Cardenas and Tuffy Gosewisch smacked home runs.
