Phillies-Braves preview

Pitching matchup: Braves RHP Tommy Hanson (10-4, 2.52) vs. Phillies LHP Cliff Lee (9-6, 2.92)

LEE VS. BRAVES: Lee has faced the Braves twice this season, with drastically different results. Although he lost both starts, the Braves hit him hard in the first one, scoring six runs in just 3 innings. In the second start, he held them to three runs in seven innings while striking out a career-high 16.

PHILLIES VS. HANSON: They are facing the young Braves star for the first time this season, but they have seen him plenty over the last 2 years. In four starts last season, they managed only three runs and 17 hits in 25 innings. Hanson held them scoreless in each of his last two starts, but lasted just 11 innings total and the Phillies ended up winning both games.
