Game 28: Burnett looks to continue hot streak

A.J. Burnett, with three straight strong starts looks to snap the Phillies' two-game losing streak when the Phillies host the Washington Nationals tonight at Citizens Bank Park.

Burnett (1-1, 2.15 ERA) will face Nationals RHP Tanner Roark (2-0, 2.76).

In his last three starts Burnett is 1-0 with a 0.83 ERA with 18 strikeouts and just three walks in 21 2/3 innings.

There is one change from Friday in the Phillies starting lineup. The change comes at the top where Tony Gwynn Jr. will be the lead-off hitter and play center field for Ben Revere. Gwynn is hitting .242 (8 for 33).
